Electric Phase is an installation made for the Factory Festival Kortrijk 2015, based on Steve Reich's well-known composition, Piano Phase.
The concept was conceived by Jacob Vanneste.
The work was fully programmed and digitized, hence the name Electric Phase.
The sounds were recorded by students of the Art Academy Zwevegem.

They found them in their everyday environment, also keeping in mind the word 'Factory'.
The images were provided by the students of the same Art Academy, under the direction of Brecht-Jan Verschuere. They developed graphite shapes that seem to put a puzzle on the rhythm of the piece.
